Getting Ranked On Fiverr – Just like getting #1 on Google, achieving a high “Rank” on Fiverr is one of the most effective ways to gain traction with their services.
Regardless of what you offer, a high rating on any of the “category” pages gives you the ability to pinpoint exactly what you’re trying to achieve in terms of growth with the service.
The point is, while offering a service (that actually generates results) is paramount, there are a number of things you can do to help your brand/account grow by using a number of “tricks” / “tactics” to help improve your overall ranking.
Before we begin, the most important thing to note is that Fiverr doesn’t really want you to “game” their system. You’ll generally get more of what you don’t need (not what you really need) and as such, if you “need” to get a rating, you generally won’t feel the benefits of it.
You need to provide a service that actually works before you even consider rating your gigs…
Failing that, it’s important to first understand that Fiverr – like Google – uses a number of “factors” to determine which gigs appear at the top of its category pages.
These factors are the ones you need to focus on to ensure that you are able to get the most effective positions in the system. To this end, the factors are as follows:
Reviews (number and rating)
Number of orders (including in queue)
Profile completeness (is your profile complete)
“Gig” quality (additional services, images, etc.)
Keywords
If you can effectively “optimize” your gigs to meet the above requirements, you will have a better chance of progressing Review.
This usually means that they provide the user with feedback and a “star” rating indicating the quality of the work provided. Obviously, having a healthy account with many 5-star orders means that Fiverr will value the account’s input and therefore be more willing to rate it higher. There is no other way to get reviews than to provide good work. While you may wish to create a few smaller “gigs” (writing articles for $5 or something) to get some quick buyers, the overall way Fiverr ranks results is based on the number of reviews over a long period of time.
Number of orders
Some “gigs” on Fiverr go for 40+ per day. These orders tell Fiverr that the service provided by the account is not only in demand, but also of high quality. To this end, if you are looking at a high ranking, it will of course be helpful to have a lot of new orders coming in daily. The only way to increase order speed is to provide VERY good service at a very cheap price. For example, if you have an SEO service – offer it for 50% of what you would normally hope to achieve in the first 3 months. This will give you the opportunity to attract more transient buyers while you build the “gig” into something more substantial Timemuzz .
Profile completeness
Make sure you upload a good profile picture, list your qualifications / achievements and generally give people a chance to identify your main strengths without having to tell them. They say success leaves traces. Your profile should be a ‘tattoo’ of your quality of work – this means if you’re serious about getting your gigs rated on their platform, you should ensure that each of your gigs has the most relevant content in the description, quality images and responds to any requests quickly and completely.
Quality of “Gigs”
Furthermore, the “quality” of any concerts published in the system is also important. Adding more services, writing a full gig “description” and generally having a system that allows people to give users the ability to see what they’re buying before they pay for it – allows users to get the most out of the system in the most efficient way. It’s generally a good idea to add multiple price bands to your gig and also make sure you have all your background copy written correctly.
Keywords
Finally, the “keywords” of your gig matter a lot. If you add multiple keywords, keep them specific to the service you want to provide. This not only ensures that you can get the most out of the system, but also that Fiverr is able to effectively secure the gig in search results, etc.
As mentioned, these are guidelines only. If you want more information on how to make money with Fiverr, you basically need to provide a service and present it in a way that focuses on specific results.
