The total number of candidates appearing in the Board examination was 1,226,747 out of which 918,644 were males and 527,143 were females. The pass percentage for male candidates was 83.14% while that for female candidates was 79.25%. A total of 289 candidates achieved minimum qualifying marks (MQM) set by the board and these are eligible to appear in the HSSC exams from 2020 onwards. There were a total of 751 students who secured first class degrees while a total of 1,133 students obtained passes with distinction.
